Research interests
I work on gravitational waves and the physics we can learn from them. I am interested in alternative theories of gravity, motivated by unresolved issues of how gravity fits in our theoretical framework for quantum matter and other fun mysteries related to gravity.
I was a member of the LIGO scientific collaboration, LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory) is the gravitational wave observatories located in the US and were the first to measure gravitational waves directly. For my PhD project I contributed to their work by helping to run data analysis and have looked for signs of gravitational wave echoes in the data.
