Through an ecocritical and relational lens, Lena Gudd's PhD project in art history engages with the agricultural motifs in John Savio's woodcuts, Ivar Sælø's oil paintings and Ellisif Wessel's photographs, as well as land & soil relations in East Finnmark, where all three lived and worked in the beginning of the 20th century.
