Job description
My PhD research focuses on designing and executing analyses for the Tromsø Study, a longitudinal population‑based cohort, focusing on ECG‑derived AI-based cardiovascular ageing biomarkers and social determinants of health. My work involves demonstrating its accuracy, applicability, and clinical relevance. My work also examines how accelerated heart aging relates to cardiovascular events and socio‑economic factors, paving the way for early, personalized interventions in preventive cardiology.

Research interests
My work spans cohort, and registry‑linked studies, with a focus on causal‑inference methods, survival and longitudinal modelling, and Bayesian or semiparametric approaches that accommodate high‑dimensional data and missingness. I complement classical techniques with machine‑learning tools, while maintaining rigorous, reproducible workflows that convert raw EHR and registry data into transparent code, and publication‑ready evidence for clinicians and public‑health decision‑makers.
