Job description

I am interested in how societies build resilience in times of crisis and prolonged uncertainty, and in the role of trust, knowledge, and collective values. 
My research begins with culture but extends into the broader field of societal security. 
This perspective connects my work on cultural security with my interests in total defence, humanitarianism, and global mental health.

I am an active participant in COST Action CA24125 CRICULT and a member of The Secure Societies research group at the Department of Technology and Safety.
