Job description

I am a PhD student working with retina images to detect early signs of eye diseases, with a focus on diabetic retinopathy. Early detection of retina diseases is an important part of keeping the population healthy and reducing the workload on the healthcare sector as a whole. AI can play a key role in assisting doctors during patient screening in the future and reduce time from screening to diagnosis. 

I am a part of the UiT Machine Learning Group and SFI Visual Intelligence.
