Inda Brinkmann
Job description
I’m a MSCA Postdoctoral fellow with iC3 (Centre for ice, cryosphere, carbon and climate), specialized in biogeochemical and molecular approaches to explore environmental and ecosystem responses to past climate variability and global changes of today. I’m particularly interested in Arctic coastal environments, and processes across the land-ice-sea transition.
In my project GMPro I develop trace-element proxies for glacial discharge variability in fjords based on benthic foraminifera, combining modern calibration studies and paleo-applications throughout the Holocene. This research is funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 101208758.
