Jan Harald Alnes

Job description

I am the academic coordinator for Examen Philosophicum, which means that I am responsible for the complementation of the course and for keeping it up todate. In addition to teaching Examen Philosophicum, I teach the course FIL-1027, Logic and the Philosophy of Language, every spring semester.

My publications are primarily in philosophical logic and political philosophy. My current project is to develop a conception of the education of citizens in a constitutional liberal democracy. The project involves both institutional considerations and broader reflections.
