PhD Fellow at UiT – The Arctic University of Norway, Department of Arctic and Marine Biology (AMB)
I hold a degree in fish health biology from UiT, with experience from the aquaculture industry. I am currently pursuing a PhD under the HubSmolt project, which aims to optimize rearing conditions for Atlantic salmon in freshwater to maximize welfare and productivity during the seawater phase of salmon production. My research focuses on investigating how genetic factors and light regimes influence the development of seawater tolerance in Atlantic salmon.
Research fields: Salmonid biology, physiology, and immunology
