Job description

I am responsible for communication and museum operations at the Arctic University Museum of Norway and the Academy of Arts. I lead a team of 12 employees who are responsible for the daily operations and development of the Arctic University Museum of Norway's visitor site on South Tromsøya. The museum operations include exhibition production, events, educational services for school students, public engagement, a café, and a museum shop.

The Arctic University Museum of Norway shares research-based knowledge about people, nature, and culture in the North. You can find us at four visitor venues: the Arctic University Museum of Norway on South Tromsøya, the Botanical Garden in the north of Tromsøya, the Polar Museum, and the Polstjerna in downtown Tromsø. We welcome around 230,000 visitors annually, and you are warmly invited to visit us too!
