Job description

I work with HPC support through NRIS (Norwegian Research Infrastructure Service) as a member of the High-Level Support (HLS) team and the Training and Outreach (TrOut) team. My main responsibilities include creating training videos on parallel computing and providing Extended User Support (EUS). Parallel computing involves dividing complex computational tasks into smaller parts that can run simultaneously on multiple cores within a Linux cluster, significantly speeding up processing times. In my role, I help users optimize their research codes to run in parallel and perform scaling analyses, which evaluate how efficiently a program utilizes an increasing number of cores.
