Professor Food Science and technology

Job description

Professor in food science technology. MSc and PhD from NTNU, Norway.

Extensive knowledge in the area of seafood and health and in particular the impact of processing and preparation on the nutritional quality of seafood products. Teaches in Food safety, (Unit Operations in Food processing / Design of marine production plants).

Representative/board member in several national and international projects/committees.

Currently, collaborator in “Seychelles Child Development Study” SCDS and EC funded “Seyfish”, focusing on seafood consumption, contaminant exposure and child development.
