Research projects:
2018-2023: Roads of the North is a project focused on studying the importance of movement for meetings, belonging, and territoriality in northern Fennoscandia c. AD 1200-1600, based on archaeological, historical, and ethnographic sources, including archaoeological sites and finds, toponyms, isotope analyses of animal bones, and maps. A synthesis is planned to be published in 2023.

2013-present: Osteoarchaeological studies of Sámi offering sites
2012-2016: Sámi Circular Offering Sites – a Comparative Archaeological Analysis. PhD project at Stockholm University.
