Job description

Lena Gross has a PhD in social anthropology from the University of Oslo from 2019. Gross' primary research interests are knowledge hierarchies, the state's relation to Indigenous peoples and minorities, gender, resource extraction in Sápmi and Canada, in addition to social science qualitative method development and research ethics. They find themself both theoretically and methodologically at an intersection between Indigenous, queer and gender studies and social anthropology.

Gross teaches mostly about topics surrounding Indigenous methodologies and research ethics and gender.
