    Research interests

My research project, “Memory Politics in Northwest Russia,” aims to analyze the evolution of Russian memory politics in the post-Soviet period and examine how it is implemented in the Northwest regions of Russia. I investigate how the main trends in memory politics affect the region’s social and political life, and how regional-level mnemonic actors interact with federal-level memory initiatives.
