Postdoc
Job description
My main research interest is the nature of snow on sea ice. It's an influential component of the Arctic system, both in terms of surface energy balance and from a microwave remote sensing perspective. I study the marine snowpack from satellites, in the field, and with simple models.
More broadly I'm interested in the way that models appear, and are often hidden, in observational processing chains.
