    Research interests

    I study different phenomena. Much of my work relate to the politics of poandemics and crisis management. I am especially interested in the state and its role in protecting society. I have also studued antiracist politics, digital media and identity politics. I employ qualitative methods, and much of my work centres on discourses.

    Theoretically, I have primarily worked with Max Weber's theory of state and Michel Foucault's theory of power. I am more generally interested in sociological theory.
