Job description
I am a PhD candidate with the SPRISK project, focusing on maritime safety and operational efficiency. Since joining the Department of Technology and Safety on 1 September 2024 as part of the SPRISK project, my research has centered on analyzing Automatic Identification System (AIS) data alongside prevailing meteorological and oceanographic (metocean) conditions using advanced AI techniques. My work aims to develop risk-informed decision-making metrics that enhance safety and efficiency in fishing vessel operations in the challenging environment of the Norwegian Arctic waters.

I hold a BSc in Electrical Engineering (2015) and an MSc in Control and Signals Engineering (2019), with specialized expertise in mathematical modeling, simulation, optimization, predictive control, and safety and reliability analysis. Recently, I have expanded my skill set in emerging technologies by taking courses in ICT and Internet Engineering.
