This page explains who to contact, how to complete required documents, and how to obtain your final Transcript of Records after your exchange period.

This section mainly applies to Erasmus+ students from European partner institutions.
📋 This is what you need to do:
- Ask your Erasmus Coordinator or International Office whether the form is required.
- Obtain the form from your home institution.
- Complete all sections that must be filled in by the student.
- Enter the correct arrival or departure dates.
- If you are unsure which dates to use, contact your Erasmus Coordinator or International Office.
- Email the completed form to mobility@uit.no for signature.
ℹ️ Important
- UiT's official name is: University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway.
- Erasmus code: N TROMSO 01.
- Incomplete forms will be returned for correction.
A Confirmation of enrolment is an official document confirming that you are currently registered as a student at UiT.
You may need this document when applying for:
- 💰 Government funding
- 🎓 Grants and scholarships
- 📄 Student benefits
- 🏛️ Other services that require proof of student status
📋 How to obtain a Confirmation of enrolment
- Visit the nearest 🔗 Student Information Desk on your campus, or
- Send an email to 📧 uitinfo@uit.no.
This section applies only to Erasmus+ students from European partner institutions.
Your home institution is responsible for helping you submit your Digital Learning Agreement. Contact your Erasmus Coordinator or International Office if you need assistance.
Use the following information when sending your Digital Learning Agreement to UiT:
- Institution name: UNIVERSITETET I TROMSØ – NORGES ARKTISKE UNIVERSITET
- Erasmus code: N TROMSO 01
- Responsible person: Incoming Student Exchange Team
- Email: mobility@uit.no
After completing your exchange period, you can obtain your Transcript of Records using one of the methods below.
1️⃣ Order a paper copy from the Student Information Desk
Visit the Student Information Desk at your campus:
Bring a valid identification document:
- National ID card (EU/EEA citizens)
- Passport
- UiT Student Card
✅ Important: the transcript will show only the courses you have successfully completed and passed.
2️⃣ Order a digitally signed transcript from Student Web
Log in to Student Web and select "Orders" from the top menu.
You can order a digitally signed transcript in English or Norwegian.
After ordering, your transcript will normally appear under "Documents" in Student Web within a few minutes.
✅ This is the recommended option if your home institution requires an official digital signature.
Important: the transcript will show only all courses you have successfully completed and passed.
3️⃣ Share your results digitally through Diploma Registry
Diploma Registry (Vitnemålsportalen) allows you to share your academic results securely with institutions and employers in Norway.
To log in:
- Current students can normally use the Feide login method.
- Former students with a Norwegian national identity number may use ID-porten.

4️⃣ Request a transcript in a sealed envelope
If a university or educational institution requires a transcript in a sealed envelope, send your request to:

⚠️ Important: Transcripts issued by the Incoming Student Exchange Team are digitally signed using Adobe Acrobat. Some institutions may require a different type of digital signature. If your institution requires a fully verifiable digital academic document, we recommend ordering your transcript through Student Web instead.
