Course contents
The students will learn the basic principles of price determination, pricing institutions, and have an introduction to selected quantitative techniques applied to selected agro-food and seafood commodities. We examine basic forces that influence agro-food and seafood prices in a spatial and temporal context. Examples of empirical price analysis applied to real world problems are investigated. Course topics include characteristics of agro-food and seafood prices.
