Course contents
The course commences with a repetition from the BA level of definitions of management-, cost- and financial accounting. Purposes and content of accounting and cost systems, planning and control within the firm are discussed. The creation and use of budgets for short and medium run decisions are also studied. Examples from the fishing industry are used throughout the course.
