Course contents
This course will give the students an overview of the main economic theories of international trade and trade policy. Focus is on possibilities and problems of aquatic products. How to study trade policy by use of these theories and the main policy output from the economic theories. Also, the course includes an overview of the international trading system with a focus on developing versus developed countries. The course will also include trade and the environment and some specific issues of trade in fish products
Objective of the course
This course will deepen the student’s understanding of theories governing trade and trade policy, with focus on aquatic products.

Multiple approaches through lectures and seminars.
Assessment methods
Written exam.
Coursework requirements
Obligatory attendance of 80% of the lectures.
