Theoretical and practical subject. The course is offered on condition that a minimum number of students register for the course.
Course contents

1) Plant organogenesis and protoplast transformation

2) Molecular analysis of transformed plants

3) Phytotron techniques (growing of plant in a controlled environment)

Language of instruction and examination

The language of instruction is English and all of the syllabus material is in English. Lab reports may be written in English or a Scandinavian language.

Teaching methods
Lectures/seminars 20 hours, individual supervision, laboratory training 60 hours.
Assessment methods

Laboratory reports graded fail/pass. There will not be arranged a re-sit exam for this course. Postponed examination will be arranged early in the next semester.
