About the course

The aim of the PhD-part of Bio-3524.

By covering theory and practice the PhD-part of the course will provide guidelines for correct choice, implementation, interpretation and presentation of statistical analyses in biology with particular focus on multivariate methods.

The course will be approved as a PhD-course by following the multivariate part of Bio-3524 and deliver a course report including use of one or more multivariate methods. We also expect this report to be of a higher standard and more extensive.

Credit reduction

If you pass the examination in this course, you will get an reduction in credits (as stated below), if you previously have passed the following courses:
