I am a registered nurse and graduated with a degree in critical care nursing. I have a master`s degree in health and care sciences and a PhD in health sciences. I currently work as an associate professor (50% position), and I am affiliated to the Master`s degree programs in ageing and geriatric health care and health professional development. In addition, I am affiliated to Centre for care research north as a post doctor fellow (50% position).
My research is within the fields of gerontology and health services research. I have special interests for care to older adults with complex and long-term care needs, dementia care, family caregiving, missed care and inequalities in health care utilization among groups of care recipients.
My methodological competence comprises quantitative and qualitative methods, including development of surveys and analysis of register data.
