The Department of Clinical Dentistry (IKO) is one of ten departments at the Faculty of Health Sciences, UiT The Arctic University of Norway.

The Department has about 50 employees in scientific (permanent and associated), technical, and administrative positions. IKO is located in the TANN-building together with the Dental Health Services Competence Center of Northern Norway (TkNN) and the University Dental Clinic (UTK) on Campus Tromsø. The Department collaborates closely with the Public Dental Health Service (DOT) and the Dental Health Services Competence Center of Northern Norway (TkNN) on education and research.

The Department is responsible for the Bachelor's program in dental hygiene, Master's program in dentistry, the research program for masterstudents in dentistry, and educates PhD-candidates.

The Department also offers specialist dental training on behalf of the Norwegian Directorate of Health in the fields of orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, clinical dentistry, and oral surgery and oral medicine, in collaboration with TkNN and the University Hospital of North Norway (UNN).
