Job description
Teaching, research, supervision and knowledge dissemination at the bachelor's programme (engineering) in Ocean Technology, the master's programme in Technology and Safety and at the PhD programme in Nautical Operations (which is a national joint degree for maritime research education between the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN), Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL) and UiT The Arctic University of Norway).
Research interests
Visualization-based collision avoidance at sea.
UKC management in shallow waters and channels.
Modelling and simulation of marine operations.
Celestial positioning without dead reckoning nor GMT.
Ship manoeuvering control in pack ice.
The influence of the universe (including the solar system) on the Earth's climate and human health.
