Research interests
1. Differential Geometry: Local and global analysis of geometric structures on manifolds. Symmetries, equivalences and normal forms. Curvature, involutivity and integrability. Lie theory: pseudogroup actions and differential invariants. Mathematical relativity. Supergeometry and supersymmetry; symmetry breaking.
2. Differential Equations: Geometric approach to integrability and symmetry analysis. Dispersionless systems. Formal theory of PDEs and symbolic systems. Compatibility and solvability of overdetermined systems. Geometry of jet-spaces and differential algebra.
3. Dynamical Systems: Hamiltonian dynamics. Topological aspects of integrable systems. Geodesic flows. First integrals (Killing tensors, etc). Entropy of smooth and singular systems. Chaos vs Integrability. Piece-wise affine maps. Evolutionary systems in mathematical physics. Control systems.
