Professor in food science technology. MSc and PhD from NTNU, Norway.

Extensive knowledge in seafood and health and in particular the impact of processing and preparation on the nutritional quality of seafood products. Teaches in Food safety, (Unit Operations in Food processing / Design of marine production plants).

Currently, collaborator in SECURE UiT, microalgae as ingredients in feed (Mikrofôr FHF and AlgOpti NFR) and SAMAKI NORHED, projects focusing on seafood consumption, nutrients, contaminant exposure and health in  vulnerable groups.
