Carly Faber
Job description
Carly is an Associate Professor in Structural Geology and Tectonics. She is also the leader of the Solid Earth Sciences, Mineral Reources and Geohazards group. Her research combines extensive field work and structural mapping with microstructural analysis, electron microscopy, age dating and 3D modelling to understand tectonics, mineral deposits and geohazards. She teaches structural geology and magmatic petrology at a bachelor level and advanced structural geology and tectonics at master level.
