Job description

I am a physical oceanographer. My main scientific interest is the ocean dynamics of the Arctic Ocean, and more specifically the ice-ocean interactions. I investigate these questions mainly using in situ data, but also when needed modelling-based approaches and satellite products.

Over the last years I have been focusing on how the physics drives the ecosystems, more particularly looking at the nutrient fluxes at the sea-ice ocean interface within the BREATHE project (NFR young researcher project, PI K. Campbell).

I am PI of the NFR early career project DIAMOND (Sea Ice lead dynamics in the Arctic and their impact on primary production, 2025-2029, NFR Grant 352217).

I am involved in the Arctic Ocean 2050 program, and the Tara Polar Station program
