Honestly, before leaving home in Poland, I thought that 6 months in Tromsø would be too much, but it turned out to be amazing!
This place offers many opportunities, most importantly numerous hikes all year round. Even if you've never skied and don't have the experience of walking in the mountains like I did, it's worth doing for the first time just in Norway.
Besides nature, an important element is the people and the university, who are amazing! Everyone is very open, helpful and eager to share the experience!
You can easily learn Norwegian here at the university for free.
Going to Tromsø is an experience that can change your life for the better!
