Doing an exchange in Tromsø was probably the best decision I could have taken. Living in the arctic is such a unique experience that I would have never experienced if it wasn't for this exchange.
For being a rather small city, Tromsø has SO much to offer. I really enjoyed studying at UiT, there were some really interesting courses that aren't really taught anywhere else.
In my time in Tromsø I met a lot of very welcoming people, though most were exchange students as well. I've found a group of friends that I see as some of my closest friends today. But by far the most amazing part was the nature.
No matter if it’s hiking, climbing, skiing, diving, swimming, ski-touring, or whatever, you can do everything up there! I can highly recommend going on exchange at UiT!
