My Erasmus+ exchange at UiT in Tromsø was a rewarding academic and personal journey. It gave me the opportunity to develop new skills, experience life in the Arctic, and broaden my perspective through studying and living in an international environment.
Facts
During my six-month Erasmus+ exchange at UiT in Tromsø, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in a new academic and cultural environment. As a Psychology student from Kyrgyzstan, I was especially inspired by the opportunity to explore psychology research at UiT and gain a broader perspective on how research is conducted in an international academic setting.
The exchange allowed me to learn from people with different backgrounds, become more independent, and challenge myself both academically and personally.
At the same time, living in Tromsø gave me the chance to experience the unique Arctic environment and discover the breathtaking nature of Northern Norway. Coming from Kyrgyzstan, a country also known for its mountains, I felt a special connection with the Norwegian landscapes.
I would highly recommend UiT to future exchange students, especially those who want to combine a strong academic experience with the opportunity to explore one of the most remarkable natural environments in the world.
