ERC 2016 Advanced Grants Announced
The European Research Council has announced the results of its 2016 call for applicants for their Advanced Grants awards.

A total of 231 researchers have been funded at universities and research centres in 20 countries across the European Research Area, with Germany (45), United Kingdom (41), Switzerland (25) and France (23) as the leading locations. Norway received two ERC AdG; one to UiO and one to UiB. A total of €540 million was awarded, with an overall success rate of 9.6%.
