ECOCARE and Follow Your Heart Unveil Innovative Student-Led Education Platform in Collaboration with the University of Turin

The ECOCARE Team, in collaboration with the authors of Follow Your Heart, is proud to announce the launch of a groundbreaking platform for student-led projects. This initiative has been developed in coordination with the University of Turin, specifically the Department of Law and the Department of Management, and boasts the involvement of esteemed academics and professionals.

The platform has been enriched by the contributions of Professor Giulia Parola and Juliana Hayden, PhD Fellow from the University of Turin, as well as Mojgan Pooladi, an intern at ECO_CARE from the same institution. Additionally, Margherita Poto (Project Coordinator) and Giuliana Panieri from the Department of Geosciences at UiT The Arctic University of Norway have played a pivotal role in this collaborative effort.

This educational platform offers a diverse array of courses and modules, drawing in students from various study programs including Global Law, Business and Management, and Geosciences. Participants have eagerly engaged in the co-creation of innovative projects, which are structured around two main strands:

  1. A book club designed to encourage peers and friends to delve into a selection of readings, many of which are publications from the ECOCARE Team.
  2. A co-created project that aligns with Agenda 2030, focusing on Sustainable Development Goal 14 (Life Below Water) among other interconnected SDGs, to foster a sustainable future.

In the coming weeks, our blog will feature the testimonies of the most creative and impactful projects crafted by our students. These narratives will not only showcase the ingenuity of our students but also the methodological steps they have taken in their creative legal projects.

We invite you to stay tuned and join us in celebrating the inspiring stories of our students' endeavors and their contributions to a more sustainable and just world.
