LNOB (Leave No One Behind) activity: ECOGIV and EfD Ghana Host Bioeconomic Modeling Workshop to Empower Young Researchers

ECOGIV project leaders, in partnership with the Environment for Development (EfD) Ghana, hosted a bioeconomic modeling workshop at the University of Ghana. This event, part of the ECOGIV initiative “Leave No One Behind” (LNOB), aimed to enhance young researchers' skills for sustainable development. Professors Kofi Godwin Vondolia (University of Cape Coast) and Claire Armstrong (UiT The Arctic University of Norway) shared updates on ECOGIV’s recent engagement with EfD, which is considering an associated membership with UiT. This potential partnership would foster collaborative research and training in sustainable practices, aligning with LNOB’s mission. The workshop provided valuable tools for participants to analyze issues related to environmental economic, strengthening local research capacity and underscoring a shared commitment to sustainable growth in Ghana and beyond.
