EcoGIV is happy to inform that Dr. Bui Bich Xuan of NTU has been selected as one of 16 international experts for GESAMP (Joint Group of Experts on the Scientific Aspects of Marine Environmental Protection) — a United Nations inter-agency scientific expert group focussing on the science of marine environmental protection.

GESAMPs mandate is to provide independent scientific advice, produce consensus reports, and identify emerging issues concerning the environment and the oceans.

EcoGIV is very happy to have one of its members in this important platform for international management of the oceans.
