Nordic Research on Arctic Construction Webinar Participation

Participation in the webinar on Nordic research on Arctic construction, held on June 10th, 2025.

Sofija Kekez and Leif-Gunnar Hanssen participated in an online event Nordic research on Arctic construction webinar, whch was held on 10th June, 2025 from 14:00 to16:00 EET. The webinar aimed to explore insights from the Interreg Aurora SCABEAC project on innovation, sustaianability, and cross-border collaboration in Arctic construction.

The main topics of the webinar was Offshore windpower, Timber’s acceptance in Finnish and Swedish construction markets, Circular construction, On-site residual prestress assessment of concrete bridges and Robotic construction machines .

This webinar was a part of the project SCABEAC, supported by Interreg Europe European Commission/European Union. Partners include Luleå tekniska universitet LTU Business Pohjois-Suomen rakennusklusteri | Arctic Construction Cluster Kupa Lapin liitto / The Regional Council of Lapland Concrete Innovation Cluster University of Oulu Oulu Business School, University of Oulu.
