One good turn deserves another. This could be the slogan for my stay in Tromsø, studying at UiT which is actually the world's northernmost university. This fact is cool on its own, but this charming place has numerous attractions anyway.
During my exchange semester, I have tried skiing, dog sledding, eating Norwegian fiskesuppe, hunting Aurora, and taking selfies with reindeer for the first time amongst several other experiences. I loved them all.
At UiT beside learning and revising, because at my home university I have a different study program, so many pieces of information were actually not unfamiliar to me, I got the chance to participate in unique events, like outdoor cinema during winter or spending Christmas with a Norwegian family, and do some volunteering as well. "Waffle Fridays" forever.
To sum up, this one autumn semester was life-changing. Beside the fact that this was the snowiest and darkest winter of my life so far, I could get to know myself and many people from various nations better, while also enjoying the beauty and coziness that Northern Norway has to offer.
