Spending my exchange semester in Tromsø was the best decision I have made during my studies! During my time in Norway, I was able to experience Norway‘s breathtaking nature as well as the polar night in winter, and the midnight sun in summer, which was really impressing and an unforgettable experience! Also seeing the Northern Lights on a regular basis is something I will never forget.

The university was very supportive and the offered free time activities for exchange students made it easy to connect with people from all over the world.

Besides the university life, I learned a lot about the Norwegian Culture, travelled across the country and made close international friends on the way. Everyone was so welcoming from the beginning, which made it very easy to feel at home in a new country really fast.

To sum it up, the semester abroad has been the best experience of my life so far! I learned so much about Norway and about myself in such a short time.

So, if you are considering spending a semester at UiT, I can wholeheartedly recommend it!
