Foredrag med Prof. emeritus Kenneth Hugdahl: To hear voices that do not exist: On auditory hallucinations in schizophrenia

Professor emeritus Kenneth Hugdahl from the University of Bergen will give a talk about auditory hallucinations in schizophrenia.

 

Prof. Hugdahl is an authority in the field of brain asymmetries, dichotic listening and brain functioning. He has broadly employed fMRI imaging methods in his research. He initiated and directed the Bergen fMRI Group, which placed him among the pioneers in using functional magnetic resonance imaging in neuroscience in Norway and the Nordic countries. Prof. Hugdahl has over 500 publications in highly renown international journals.

The lecture lasts for 45 min. and the last 15 min. are assigned for questions from the audience. The lecture is open for anyone interested in the topic.
