This half day workshop is focused on integrating sustainability in to the curriculum. We will use the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG) as a framework for integrating sustainability in to courses, and explore methods to facilitate students making connections of sustainable themes across disciplines. We will also conduct an asset mapping exercise to identify local organizations working to advance sustainability, which facilitates students linking local efforts to global goals.
UiT’s new strategic plan UiTs strategi 2022–2030 | UiT sustainability is one area our university will take particular responsibility through the knowledge and expertise needed for environmentally, socially and economically sustainable development. This workshop is of interest for anyone who wants to learn more and get inspiration for how to integrate sustainability into courses and studies.
