Welcome to the landscape architecture program spring studio exhibition!

During the spring of 2024, Studio 2 Landscape Practices has studied the conditions for Sámi reindeer husbandry in the county of Troms /Romssa fylkkasuohkan. Landscapes in the Arctic and sub arctic are rapidly changing as a result of climate change, energy extraction, increased urban recreation activities and infrastructure development. The exhibited projects reflect upon place and time-specific encounters between the seasonal activities in two reindeer grazing districts and a variety of extensive urban activities and infrastructures.
