Open Science Workshop

As part of C-LaBL’s mentorship program, C-LaBL is organizing a workshop on Open Science open to all PhDs, postdocs, advanced MA students, and faculty members affiliated with C-LaBL.

This workshop will be an in-person event and will cover introductions to the topic, sharing of experiences from senior colleagues, and a hands-on part on data archiving.

This event, led by Terje Lohndal, will feature insightful sessions by Huw Haugland-Grange, Per Pippin Aspaas, Mara van der Ploeg, and Laura Janda.

  • Introduction to Open Science and European policies
  • Introduction to Open Publishing
  • How to choose publication venues and the importance of serious peer review
11:10-12:00
  • Introduction to research data archiving
  • Experiences from archiving data in a curated archive
12:00-12:45
  • Lunch
12:45-14:00
  • Hands-on workshop: ReadMe file and documentation of data
This workshop is a great opportunity to deepen your understanding of Open Science practices and gain practical skills in data documentation.
