More-Than-Human Perspectives on Media, Place and Urban and Rural Space

Open seminar for students, researchers and guests
This seminar will explore how more-than-human perspectives can expand our understanding of media, place, and urban and rural spaces? On this note, nine researchers from UiT and the Centre for Geomedia studies, Karlstad University, Sweden, will present their work. The presentations will address themes including urban and regional planning, landscape architecture, geomediatization, and the roles of human and non-human actors in shaping places.
This morning seminar is open to everyone and is done in collaboration with the Centre for Geomedia studies and the research group Place, Power and Mobility at UiT.
Spots available for researchers and PhD students in the afternoon workshop
This open presentation will be followed in the afternoon by a closed workshop for registered researchers and PhD students. Places are still available, but there are limited spots left.
