Associate Professor in Modern History with a special responsibility for Indigenous and Minority History.

Member of the University Board, UiT The Arctic University of Norway (2021–2025 and 2025–2029), representing the academic staff.

Teaches and supervises at the BA, MA, and PhD levels in modern history, with a particular focus on Indigenous and Minority History, Northern Norwegian Regionalism, Economic History, the Digital Revolution, and the Digi-Modern Society.
