    Educated as psychoanalytical psychotherapist and as a group analyst. Part time position as senior

    psychiatrist at Department of General psychiatry University Hospital of North Norway. PhD in 2000

    at the  University of Tromsø (The measurement of coping and physical functioning. Psychosocial

    predictors of the process of coping and treatment satisfaction”).All together 70 publications,mainly

    about psychological aspects about somatic illness and treatment, transcultural issues and

    psychotherapy.
