Job description
My PhD job is simple and only has two goals:
First, I take large, messy datasets and torture them until they confess to a p-value less than 0.05. I then write 5,000 words explaining why my result is 'novel and robust'.
Second, I am spending four years of my life writing a 100-page-ish book (my PhD thesis) that will be read by exactly three people: my two opponents and my mom.
