Job description

Opdal is associate professor in education (pedagogy) / the philosophy of education. In addition to researching, Opdal teaches at both BA-, MA-, PhD- and colleague-level and also supervises students at all these levels. Opdal's research consists primarily in theoretical analyses of foundational educational concepts (refer here for an example: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11217-021-09796-3), but he also works empirically with educational questions. His teaching is primarily in the philosophy of education, didactics and university-pedagogy, but he also teaches methodology.
