Job description

My research interests include learning and technology in work and education, with a particular focus on how people acquire knowledge in various contexts. I am concerned with the interplay between learning processes, technological tools, and organizational frameworks, and how this influences development, change, and practice. My projects are often rooted in implementation research, where I examine how new initiatives and learning technologies are adopted and create meaning in practice. I have a special interest in research on (technological) tools and work methodologies introduced in the healthcare sector (eHealth), education sector, and police force. I use qualitative research methods, with a particular interest in interaction analysis, to gain insights into people's experiences and understandings in complex learning situations.
